McGrath/Power is seeking a highly motivated, multi-task oriented person to support the Director of Finance & Operations in a variety of areas. You’ll get to be involved in agency operations, human resources, agency marketing and finance. The right candidate will have a “can-do” attitude, an outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid computer skills, and enjoy the excitement of balancing a variety of responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment. They will also have a polished professional demeanor in person and on the phone, be proactive and self-driven, and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities include: HR support through the participation in job ad creation, new hire orientation, agency representation at career fairs, benefits administration; Financial support through creation and analysis of various client time and budget reports, relationship management with key client financial contacts and vendors, accounts payable and receivables processing, W-9 and 1099 reporting, General office support through the oversight of day-to-day operations including; general office facilities/equipment support, basic IT coordination, meeting prep, administrative support for power point presentations, travel, phones, and internet research.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 4-6 yrs full-time experience in an administrative role with at least 3 years (full-time)in a professional services organization (i.e. legal, public relations, accounting, advertising, consulting)with 1 yr in an HR support role
- General accounting experience(billing, payables, receivables); knowledge of QuickBooks helpful but not required
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating with executives and clients
- Must be computer savvy and have solid internet research skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Office tools. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, graphic design a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- AA or BA degree
