OCZ was a successful provider of solid state storage to consumer gaming enthusiasts, but the company sought entrance into the more lucrative enterprise market. This shift would require a new type of program, and our team was chartered with architecting OCZ’s enterprise image and extending the brand into an entirely new world of thought leadership. Reaching the enterprise decision maker required a communications shift away from tech specs to point of view on issues and business benefits underpinned by technical specifications. To cut through the noise, we encouraged a bold stance and an expanded channel mix. The program dramatically increased revenue growth and opened news sales opportunities. In the first six months alone, our team secured more than 175 articles in all key publications while also demonstrably increasing social channel engagement and share of voice.
